Norton College - GreenScreen Film Challenge

Students were challenged to create an environmentally-based five minute film in 72 hours as part of Climate Week in March.

Some of their films were shown at the No Limits Film Festival led by the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University in April , which included an outdoor screening in Endcliffe Park.

The GreenScreen competition began in the television studio at Norton College.
Judges included Nev Pierce of Empire Magazine, Martin Kiszko, composer of The Killing of John Lennon and Tom Pumford.

The competition was organised by video lecturer Rob McLellan, who recently won a national film competition with an idea that has captured the attention of Hollywood.

The Norton College winning team was Epic Monkey with members Curtis Maloney, Steven Grayson, Ryan Pugh and Joe Maloney. Their video can be seen here:
