  • Transition Sheffield

    Transition Sheffield are part of the growing Transition Towns Network. They aim to raise awareness about climate change, peak oil and have groups in Burngreave, Crookes/Walkley, Heeley/Meersbrook, Nether Edge/Sharrow and Porter Valley.


  • Care4Air - tackling air pollution

    Air pollution and carbon emissions are pretty much from the same sources in urban areas. In Sheffield, traffic is the source of the majority of air pollution and around 25% of carbon dioxide


  • Whirlow Hall Farm

    Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is a unique environmental and educational charity based on a real working farm on the outskirts of Sheffield. Each year they provide an outstanding learning experience to over 10,000 children..
